Our Hawaiian fusion cheeseburger is topped with sweet grilled pineapple and salty pepperoni. It's big flavor in every bite.
- 1 to 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 4 canned or fresh pineapple rings
- Old Croc Sharp or Extra Sharp Cheddar
- 8 slices pepperoni
- 4 onion rolls
- salt and pepper for taste
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1 to 1 ½ tbsps teriyaki
- 1 tbsp honey
To start, whisk mayo, teriyaki, and honey in a small bowl. Let sit.
Brush pineapple rings with vegetable oil. Grill slightly on both sides until grill marks begin to show. Set aside.
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and mold it into 4 patties. Cook them over medium heat for 5 minutes, on both sides. In the last minute of cooking, top with a couple slices of Old Croc, let melt.
Spread sauce on bottom of bun, layer buns with lettuce, 1 patty, 2 slices pepperoni, 1 pineapple ring, more sauce. Enjoy!
