1 Tbsp Butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 7oz package old Croc Sharp or Extra Sharp White Cheddar
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup fat-free sour cream
S&P to taste
6 cooked bacon slices, chopped
Preheat oven to 400°. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large sauté pan, over medium heat. Add onion, sauté stirring frequently approx 30 minutes til golden in color. Cool slightly. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, reserving 1 Tsp cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a small ceramic baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Serve warm with crostini or flatbread.
