The ‘O’ Burger


The 'O' Burger


  • 1 to 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • Old Croc Sharp or Extra Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 package frozen onion rings
  • 4 buns
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • Chipotle mayo:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 chipotle in adobo canned, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsps lime juice


  1. Mix beef, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Separate into 4 portions to form burger patties. Cook them over medium heat for 5 minutes, on both sides. 

  2. While burgers are grilling, combine mayo, sour cream, chili, chili powder and lime juice to make Chipotle Mayo. 

  3. Prepare onion rings according to package. 

  4. When burgers are just about done grilling, top with Old Croc Sharp Cheddar. Stack buns with lettuce, tomato, burgers, plenty of Chipotle Mayo and a few onion rings. 

  5. Dig in!
