16 oz prepared pulled pork (or try this easy recipe below)
8 slices sourdough bread, sliced thick
1 package Old Croc Extra Sharp or Smoked Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
4 tbsps butter
Heat skillet. Spread butter on one side of each piece of sourdough. Lay slices, buttered side down in pan, layer shredded cheese onto slice, top with ¼ cup pulled pork onto each slice, top with more shredded cheese, place 2nd slice, buttered side up. Grill until golden on each side, pressing down with spatula.
Pulled pork recipe:
3 lbs boneless pork shoulder, fat trimmed
1 packageMcCormick® Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Seasoning
½ cup Ketchup
½ cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook 8 hours on high setting. Remove pork shoulder and shred with 2 forks.
