The Ultimate Old Croc Grilled Cheese Smokehouse Sandwich

  • 10 oz. pre-packaged or homemade barbecue pulled pork
  • 20 onion rings
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter softened
  • 8 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 7oz. packages Old Croc Smoked Sharp Cheddar grated
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked chipotle pepper
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. pickled jalapeños drained


  1. According to package instructions, preheat oven and prepare the pulled pork and onion rings. In a small bowl, combine jalapenos, honey and chipotle pepper.

  2. Butter one side of the slices of bread. On medium high heat, heat a skillet or griddle. Depending on the size of the pan, make one grilled cheese at a time. Place slice, buttered side down. Spread with jalapeno mixture. Divide Old Croc Smoked Sharp Cheddar, pulled pork, onion rings between 4 slices.  Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.  Grill until cheese is melted to perfection on the inside and golden brown on the outside. Set them aside.

  3. Enjoy this ultimate sweet and smoky sandwich filled with melted Old Croc Smoked Cheddar with crispy onion rings on the side!
