  • 1 to 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • Old Croc Sharp or Extra Sharp Cheddar
  • avocado sliced
  • 4 to tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeno seeded and minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup cilantro chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 buns


  1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and mold it into 4 patties. Cook them over medium heat for 5 minutes, on both sides. 

  2. Combine diced tomatoes, red onion, garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice and oil. (Add jalapeno to taste; include the seeds for even more heat!) Add salt & pepper to taste. 

  3. When burgers are almost done grilling, top each patty with Old Croc Sharp Cheddar. 

  4. Remove from grill and assemble burgers on buns, topping with avocado slices and a few generous spoonfuls of salsa.
