Spicy Cheddar Latkes
You've never tasted latkes like this before. Spicy and cheesy, they'll be your new go-to side dish.

Total Time 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 6 cups potatoes grated
- 1 cup onion grated
- 1 cup Old Croc Sharp Cheddar grated
- 1/4 cup flour or matzo meal
- 2 eggs beaten
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp adobo powder
- 2 tsps chili powder
- Canola oil for frying
Instructions
Press excess liquid out of shredded potato & onion, then place into a mixing bowl. Add Old Croc cheese, flour, egg, baking powder and spices. Mix until incorporated.
Coat a frying pan with canola oil, and heat over medium heat. Working in batches, drop scoops of potato mixture into the pan, fry 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden.
Serve warm, and top with sour cream!
