Scare up some fun this Halloween with Cheesy Garlic Bread Skulls! Made with Old Croc Smoked Cheddar, these spooky little breads are golden, cheesy, and perfect for dipping in warm marinara sauce. A playful party snack or a hauntingly delicious side dish that kids and adults will both love.

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz Old Croc Smoked Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 1 ball Pizza Dough, at room temperature
  • 4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce, warmed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400˚F and grease skull pan with a small amount of olive oil using a pastry brush.
  2. Roll out pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide into six sections, slightly bigger than skull pan cavity, to allow enough dough to seal. Lay dough loosely over the skull pan cavity, so it dips into the well and gently push dough to sides of the skull mold.
  3. Fill with grated Old Croc Smoked Cheddar Cheese then fold the sides of the dough over the top of the cheese and pinch to seal the dough so no cheese is showing. Press the dough into the mold so it takes the whole shape.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the dough looks slightly crisp and light brown around the edges.
  5. Cool for 5-10 minutes in the skull pan then invert onto a cooling rack.
  6. In a small bowl, combine extra virgin olive oil, salt, garlic powder and Italian seasoning then brush the mixture over the skulls.
  7. Serve with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
