Ham & Cheese Christmas Trees

These Ham & Cheese Christmas Trees are a festive, savory twist on classic holiday appetizers. Flaky pizza dough is layered with melty cheese and savory ham, shaped into playful tree silhouettes, and finished with a garlic butter glaze, Parmesan, and a cheese star on top. Perfect for holiday parties, family gatherings, or a cozy night in, they’re as fun to make as they are to eat.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans @pillsbury thin crust pizza dough
- 10-12 thin slices of cheese(your choice)
- 1 Block of cheese(for star topper)
- 8-10 slices of thin sliced ham
- 1 stick of salted butter
- 2 TBS of fresh minced garlic
- 2 TBS of chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan
- Mini star cookie cutter
- 8 skewers
Directions
- Roll out pizza dough, add a layer of cheese and sliced ham. Add second pizza crust on top and seal edges(can use a rolling pin)
- Cut off edges to make a clean rectangle and cut dough into (8) 1 1/2 in strips
- Fold the strip back & forth starting wide then going skinny to resemble the shape of a Christmas tree. Insert skewer, Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 400 for about 14 minutes.
- In a pot melt one stick of butter and 2TBS of minced garlic, (add 2 tsp of salt if using unsalted butter) remove from heat and add parsley. Brush butter on trees and add grated Parmesan
- Top with a star cut out of cheese
