Smoked Cheddar Burger
This is THE burger of the summer. SMOKED CHEDDAR BACON CHEESEBURGERS, featuring Old Croc Cheese smoked cheddar cheese.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs 85% ground beef
- 2 blocks of Old Croc Smoked Cheddar Cheese, one cut into cubes and one sliced thinly
- 2 jalapeños, deseeded and diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- ½ cup mayo
- 3 tbs ketchup
- 1 tbs mustard
- 2 tbs pickle relish
- Burger lettuce
- 6 burger buns with sesame seeds
Directions
- Mix together ground beef, cubed cheese, diced jalapeños, salt and pepper in a large bowl with gloved hands. Form into 6 large balls before flattening into patties.
- On a warmed grill, cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side. Place a slice of cheese on top and allow to melt. Remove from heat and set aside.
- To make the burger sauce, mix together chopped bacon, mayo, ketchup, pickle relish and mustard in a small bowl.
- Assemble the burgers in this order: bottom bun, burger sauce, cheeseburger, burger sauce, lettuce and top bun.
- Enjoy with fries!
